Welcome
to my little piece of the Internet. And welcome back to those who've found
thier way back to my new URL. Yes, I have new ISP and it's cheaper and
more reliable by far. If you live in Houston and you need a new provider,
check out GHG Corp. They have really
good rates and I've never had a problem with them. If you've seen my page
before, you might notice a few changes but don't worry...it's still full
of the same silly stuff! And speaking of silly, here's my mandatory link
to an official Monty Python Homepage.
Most of my images
are links so drive carefully and have fun!
Congratulations
to the 1998 Central Division Champs. With the addition of home town favorite
Ken Caminiti the Stros' are poised to have another great season. Approximate days left till the
start the 1999 Season Opener You
will need a Java capable browser to view this applet!
What's the best place in Houston to go for a drink
and get away from that damn traffic? Well the best place I know of is the
TheGinger
Man. In my opinion, it's the best pub in town so if you to come to
Houston, be sure and check it out, it's the closest thing to a real pub
this side of the Atlantic. Chances are you might see me there. I sincerely
apologize to the G-men for not updating thier page as often as I'd like.
Next time the drinks are on me guys. While your here, check out my list
of things that don't
suck. There's some things you might like, and if you can view Java
apps...the logo is cool!
One of my favorite things in this world is Beer. I like brewing
it, drinking it and talking about it and if you do too then let me know.
Anyone interested in swapping recipes or brewing techniques, feel free
to send me some E-mail
Another thing I love talking about is music, and if your ever in
Houston and you like Celtic music, (you know, the stuff they play in Scotland
and Ireland) make sure and try to catch a local band we have here called
Clandestine.
They are a treat to catch live. Equally impressive though definitely not
Celtic is an incredible female vocalist named SusanWerner.
She's an incredible song writer as well as a heck of a performer.
I've had the chance to see her live a few times including twice at theKerrville
Folk Festival. If you're anywhere near Texas around Memorial Day, I
wholly recommend making a trip to the festival. Both of these great artists
can be seen periodically here in Houston at McGonigel's
Mucky Duck which in my opinion is one of the best venues in Houston
to watch live music. Another group to look for there and elsewhere
isTrout Fishing in America. They
are fantastic but you have to see them live to really appriciate them.
Let's see...beer, music...what's left? Oh yeah...the Internet.
I seem to spend a whole lot time on here lately. I like to explore it all.
I do spend a lot of time on the IRC though and if you have some time, check
out my Zen and the
art of IRC page. It's just a collection of my own opinions.
I'm also a Geographer by proffesion and I love maps and things geographic.
Click on the compass to go to a really cool mapping page. It
Rules! You can find anywhere you want by street address, Domain
or E-mail address, or City/State. You can customize and print out your
maps as a gif! Like I said...it Rules! And of course
the best place to find many types of Internet software is Winfiles.com
