Here's a few links to some Houston sports teams....and some others.
Click on the logos to see the sites.
Click the images above to go to The
official Central Division Champion Houston Astros home page. Not only
is this a good site for Astros fans, but it's one of the best sites I've
seen on the web....period. In other words, it rules! The 1998 Astros season
was one of the most exciting we've had and congratulations to the team
for a great job. This year should be even better. And it was
nice to finally see the dome full of fans supporting the team. Let's keep
it up Houston!
The back to back NBA champion Houston Rocket's
home page. Olawjawon, Barkley, and Pippin promise to make even this
shortened season one to remember. The Rocket's rule.....nuff' said.
This is their official NBA site. Check out this Rockets
site as well, it's not official but it's really
good. Enjoy and ........GO ROCKETS!!!
.Well they ain't the NHL....but they're the hottest
team in the IHL and lead the league with the best record by far.
And their logo rocks!! Hockey in Houston is alive and well
thanks to the Aeros and they have a pretty decent home page with lots of
info. They went to the playoff's last year and we expect to seem them there
again this time so come on out and watch them play!
In their inaugural season, the Comets took it
all and then repeated the feat this year!!! Congratulations ladies on another
exciting season and we can't wait till' next year. Oh, and Cynthia Cooper
rules! This is their official WNBA home page.
The Houston Hotshots are Houston's Indoor Soccer
team. I have to admit, I wasn't much of a fan until my buddy took me to
a game this season. I was a lot of fun and I will definitely be back. This
link is to their home page.
The Houston Thunderbears is our Arena
football team. I can't profess to know too much about them
but they are the 1998 Central Division Champs. The 1999 season
kicks off April 23 against IOWA.
Yes, I know these guys are from Louisiana, but
since Houston doesn't have a football team anymore, (and I don't miss them)
and since I grew up in New Orleans, I pick the Saints to root for as Houston's
team. Let's not even talk about the Cowgirls. This isn't an official Saints
site but it's a darn good one.
